Poznań is becoming an increasingly strong player in the international events market

Poznań continues to strengthen its position as one of Central Europe’s emerging destinations for international association meetings and congresses.

The latest ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) ranking confirms the city’s dynamic year-over-year growth:

  • 19 international association meetings hosted in 2025 (+90% year-over-year),
  • advancement to 73rd place in Europe (up from 125th),
  • advancement to 141st place globally (up from 232nd),
  • 4th place in Poland in the number of international association meetings (up from 5th).

The annual ICCA report is considered one of the most important benchmarking tools for the global MICE industry. The report covers nearly 12,500 meetings worldwide that meet strict ICCA criteria related to event rotation, international participation, and continuity.

Today, Poznań offers a highly competitive environment for hosting global events, including:

  • an extensive hotel offering, including 4- and 5-star properties, soon to be expanded with new investments,
  • outstanding culinary experiences, including Michelin-recognized restaurants,
